The Ops-Core FAST SF Ballistic Helmet is constructed from an extremely lightweight hybrid composite of the most advanced Carbon, Unidirectional Polyethylene and woven Aramid. The ballistic composite shell provides excellent lightweight protection from ballistic threats and blunt trauma. This Ops-Core ballistic helmet is usable in any environment including maritime applications.

The SF Ballistic Helmet’s shell is a super high cut design for optimal comfort while retaining critical coverage. The lightweight shell increases comfort by eliminating weight and prolonging fatigue over legacy systems. This super high cut design allows for helmet mounted ear protection to be easily added onto the helmet.

The Ops-Core SF Ballistic Helmet features Ops-Core’s new Modular Bungee Shroud. The Modular Bungee Shroud retains the bungees behind the shroud to cut down on snag hazards and interfere with articulating goggles. The bungees also feature closed loop clips for goggle retention.

The FAST SF Ballistic Helmet features Ops-Core’s retention system and Vented Lux Liner. The Vented Lux Liner features a recessed channel for over the head headsets so users can put on and take off their helmet without removing their headset. The vented design also allows for increased airflow inside the helmet.

In addition, the FAST SF Ballistic features the newly redesigned skeletonized arc rails. The skeletonized rails feature the same traditional mounting pattern, however, are 30% lighter than legacy rails and have increased tie down locations for cables and other added gear.

The Ops-Core SF Ballistic Helmet integrates with all standard Ops-Core accessories such as AMP Communication Headset, drop in visors, and other complimentary helmet accessories.

The Ops-Core Adaptive Mission Platform (AMP) Communication Headset is a modular communication headset that is designed to serve both standalone and helmet mounted ear pro / communication applications with ease. The Ops-Core AMP NFMI enabled headset is a fully modular system that features quick connect and disconnect pods. This allows the user to quickly go from running the AMP as a headset to running it mounted directly to the helmet.

The Ops-Core AMP Communication Headset is not like other electronic ear protection due to its 3D Hear Through Technology. This 3D Hear Through Technology uses multidirectional microphones to give the user the ability to better detect directional sound. This enhanced directional sound detection gives users the advantage to better detect and react to sound.

The NFMI enabled AMP features the option to run an in ear bud that connects wirelessly to the AMP to provide doubled up ear protections while still retaining full comms and passthrough sound. The AMP system with the optional NFMI earbuds is the best way to have double ear protection while retaining situational awareness and full benefit of electronic ear-pro. The NFMI earbuds are sold separately can can be added at any time to the NFMI enable AMP.

When connected to a helmet with the Ops-Core Helmet Mounted Rail Kit the Amps fold to the rear of the helmet to save space and balance weight. This is a welcomed feature to those experienced with running helmet mounted ear-pro. Other systems provide less than desired seals around the ear and are overall less effective.

With modular options for headband or helmet mounted and double or single hearing protection the Ops-Core AMP Communication headset is out favorite ear-pro on the market.

NFMI Enabled Connectorized Variant: This variant is the NFMI Enabled, Connectorized variant. This is the most flexible and modular variant that Ops-Core offers. The NFMI Enabled Connectorized AMP features dual connectors for modular downlead cables. This lets the user elect if downleads are used and which downleads. When downleads are not in use they have a waterproof plug. This variant also lets the user choose wether they use the optional NFMI earbuds for double ear protection. Non NFMI enabled units cannot be converted later. Because of these benefits this is the variant we choose to stock.

 The Ops-Core AMP Helmet Rail Mount Kit allows for the mounting of the AMP Communication Headset to a helmet system with the Ops-Core ARC Rails. The helmet mount rail kit mounts to the rear of the ARC rails to allow for the top portion of the rails to remain free for mounting accessories such as lights and other accessories.

Mounting the Ops-Core AMP Communication Headset to the rear of the helmet improves stabilization and provides a natural counterbalance to the weight of night vision.

A single point gimbal attachment to the ear cups allows for 360-degree adjustment, which not only allows for better fitment and seal to the user’s unique ear / head shape but maintains that seal and moves more naturally with head movement.

Ear cups rotate to the side or rear of helmet when not in use, streamlining stowage to create a very low profile.

 The Ops-Core NFMI Earplugs provide increased noise reduction, while maintaining clear communications and 3D Hear-Through, when used with NFMI enabled Ops-Core headsets.

The NFMI Earplugs use near field magnetic induction technology to wirelessly connect to the Ops-Core AMP Communication Headset to allow users to have double ear protections but not sacrifice performance of their communication system.

The NFMI Earplugs do not need batteries, recharging, or any wired connection. When engaged with the AMP Communication Headset, the NFMI earplug will seamlessly integrate for clear communication and electronic hearing.

The kit ships with standard, slim, and large Comply foam tips, to accommodate a wide variety of users.
